No. You do not need to be an assessment expert. You can ask a question in plain language. You can describe what is happening with a person, a team member, a candidate, a client or a relationship and Ask Dr. A™ will help explain the assessment insight in a practical way.

What is the difference between DISC and Motivators?

Ask Dr. A™ supports both DISC and Motivators. DISC explains how a person tends to behave. It looks at things like communication, pace, decision-making, problem-solving, interaction style and response to stress or pressure. Motivators explain why someone is driven to act. They help show what the person values, what gives them energy and what may cause frustration or disengagement. Together, DISC and Motivators give a more complete view of how someone shows up and what drives them.

If the report is readable, Ask Dr. A™ can summarize it and help explain: the main DISC pattern; Natural and Adaptive behavior themes; Motivators or Driving Forces, if included; strengths and blind spots; communication and coaching tips; practical next steps

What files can I upload?

Ask Dr. A™ supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, PNG and JPG files, up to 15 MB each. You can attach up to four files to a question. Attached files remain available throughout that conversation until you remove them or start a new conversation.

What if Ask Dr. A™ cannot read my assessment?

If Ask Dr. A™ cannot read the uploaded file, it will show a clear message: “I can see the file was uploaded, but I could not read the text from it. Please try a text-based PDF, DOCX or TXT file.”

What if I do not have an assessment?

Accepted Answer

You can still use Ask Dr. A™ without uploading an assessment. You can ask general questions about DISC, Motivators, communication, leadership, coaching, hiring, stress, blind spots and relationship dynamics. If you have an Abelson Report DISC Wheel space number, include it in your question.

Will Ask Dr. A™ make up scores if it cannot find them?

Ask Dr. A™ is designed not to guess. If a score, graph or report section is not visible or readable in the uploaded assessment, it is instructed to say so clearly rather than invent the missing information.

Can I choose how long the answers are?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Brief, Quick, Balanced or Deep beneath the message box. Balanced is the default, and your choice is remembered in the same browser.

Can I speak my questions instead of typing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Select Speak to dictate your question, then review or edit the text before sending. Availability depends on your browser and microphone permissions.

Can I save answers and return to previous conversations?

Yes. Your conversations are saved to your account. You can return to previous conversations through Chat or Dashboard. Select Save beneath an answer to add it to Saved Answers on your Dashboard.

Ask Dr. A™ should be used as a decision-support tool, not as the only factor in a hiring decision.

Your free trial lasts 24 hours and begins when you create your account. No credit card is required. Nothing is charged when the trial ends; your access simply pauses unless you choose to subscribe.

Ask Dr. A™ uses OpenAI’s API to process questions and assessment content. To request deletion of your account or conversations, contact succeed@abelson.net. Only upload reports you have permission to share.
